We journeyed back in time to April 12-14, 1912 on the TITANIC,
a replica interactive with crew dressed the part and actual size carved
staircase. Opening the door from
officers' bridge brought a blast of cold air and starlight skies. We were given the name of a passenger when we
entered and found their fate by the end. My first-class passenger lived (62% did) but Mike's 24 yr. old crew member didn't (22% survived).
Well
worth the $25 admission. They had individual recordings you listened to as you
navigated through at your own pace. Lots
of original items.
Ate at a local BBQ place-Danna's (Catfish and pulled pork
sand.) and then Legends. Good! Made jambalaya
and spinach salad. 38 degrees, rain
tonight but cozy in RV. Civil war battlefield tomorrow.
