After a fun Mardi Gras Party put on by the Glendive Lions Club, and Super Bowl Sunday in Williston with Matt & Leisha and Jayden and the Shipman family, we are making last minute preparations as we wait for the roads to be clear. Did I say we? Mike takes care of all RV details--waxed the coach and the trailer, aired the tires, turned on the frig, and today looking for a 24 volt battery disconnect switch. When he was putting in the batteries, they arched without even being connected so the disconnect switch must be live and not disconnecting. This truly is a vacation for me as Mike takes care of all RV details. I'm the navigator (with approval-ha.)
Our route is changing--going farther south through Valentine, NE and maybe down to Kansas before heading east. Mike nixed Graceland and Elvis and the ducks in the Peabody Hotel.. So a better plan B --we will head south from Branson through the Ozarks to Vicksburg, MS and explore civil war battlefields. Then along the gulf coat to FL. Shopcat is ready! Stay tuned. That's the best part about RVing is the diversions you can take. Suggestions welcome.
