Venice, LA

Most of the Pelican state lies 90-100 feet above sea level but most of New Orleans is below sea level and going south, our GPS was always in the negative. How they got to rebuild is a mystery to me as Glendive has stymied growth because of not being able to build in the flood plain. Here's some examples of new building at the Venice Marina, Rene's frog legs and sweet potato fry lunch. A car left in the marsh was just one example as we saw boats without trailers in the middle of fields.
